There is a lemon in every basket...had 5 years problem free experience with mine.
Im doing a lot of business travel this year so got a new one beginning of this year. GLS Specs: 70kw 1.4l. After 6500 km the average fuel consumption is 18.3km/l. Included as standard: cruise control, bluetooth, DRL, usb for MP3's. 16inch mags

Thought you guys might be interested in an update. It looks like Toyota is going to give me the best deal on a new Yaris 1.3. It works out with fuel, insurance, and payments that I will saving between R1300 - R2000 on monthly car expenses. Plus I would be getting something brand new that's reliable. It's making a lot of sense, but it is a bit hard to step down from a BMW haha

Seeing as you are already driving a German car you might want to look at the Corsa D. Even in Essentia trim it comes with all the creature comforts you need and they all have a 3 year 60,000km service plan.
