right so it appears I got a fine the other day. this is the photo they sent me.

nightfine.jpg

so who is the real offender in this photo? I can barely make out my own car!

what are the rules regarding 2 cars in the same photo. I read somewhere (forgot where) that this type of fine is invalid? true or false

thanks

But you did get caught you little speed devil you

Its not valid.

Is there any traffic rules that I could download and mail to them pointing out
" politely" their error. Or should I just ignore it?

I've got another fine/ photo with 2 other cars in the same photo.
1 car emmediately on my left and directly in front of me. In other words I'm boxed in so no chance of me going faster than the van in front of me.

Umm your own photo is a bit blurry as well so can't see if number plate would even be recognisable but guessing it isn't up to standard. And yes there must only be one car. If you just leave it they will issue a warrant at some point. Pointing out the problem to them they'll probably just cancel it.

I'm guessing this was taken with one of those new stationary "box" cameras? But yes it is invalid

I dont know how those camera boxes work... but i doubt 1/2 the tickets they issue will be valid, especially the ones on the highways. There are always vehicles around... so it would have to zoom and focus quickly to catch a single vehicle in the shot

The actual photo is a bit blurry.
Will contact them during the week.
