Traffic fines

Also was unable to renew my disc the other day at the post office due to them saying i have a warrant, then i went to this site to check which fine in particular had a warrant http://www.aarto.gov.za/index.php/query-my-fine , paid it via internet banking yesterday, will pass by the Post Office tomorrow to see if they still refuse.

I see they wrote off about 5 other fines but kept this one, probably because its a roadside fine and not a speeding one. Got another from a traffic warden on the weekend, didn't even know we had those in Alberton.

I have plenty outstanding fines and have never had a problem renewing my licence.
The only problem I did have, was last year, when I bought my son a car, on my name. Barons called to say that there was one outstanding warrant on my name, which needed to be paid before they would register the car. Just went to Gallow Hills - Paid R800.00 and the car was registered the next day. (can't believe there was only one warrant!!!)

Same happened to me. Licence disk refused due to warrant of arrest.
Had to pay 2 k in jmpd fines. Found out afterwards that joburg metro list you on the system for a warrant of arrest to block your licence disk being issued. This is obviously done illegally as there is no real warrant of arrest.

Getting handcuffed and shoved in the back of a police vehicle? No problem, bring it!
Spending the night in a prison cell with a whole bunch of other unmentionables? No problem, bring it!
Incurring the wrath of your mother? OMG, pay the fine now!!!

Bwahaha!!! I can remember racking up couple of fines in mother's name, had to pay up immediately

Also reason I'm here is coz I got a final notice yesterday for two fines and another fine where there are two vehicles in the picture. I'm just reading up, not planning on giving these leechers any more of my money.
