Traffic on Koeberg Rd

Was anyone else stuck in the traffic on Koeberg Rd towards Cape Town this morning. It was a complete nightmare. I went through Montague Gardens, but just before I turned off, I saw what looked like a road block on Koeberg Rd. At 8am! Now who was the bright spark that decided that was a good idea?

A main water pipe burst there a few weeks ago causing traffic problems.
Could be that again.

Yes there was a roadblock, but by 8.30am there was no traffic.

For me the traffic was backed up all the way past the refinery and over the N7. Took me 30min longer than usual. Don't want to know what it was like for the Table View/Blouberg guys, coming up Blouberg Rd and onto Koeberg.

Anyway, guess it was for the taxi's from Du Noon. Some of them are a bit of a nuisance.
