For a while now one could have "all-in-one" service from your ISPs where they bill you for ADSL rental & bandwidth, while the phone line rental stays with Telkom.

To take advantage of the (slightly) lower pricing, I've considered transferring my line to my current ISP. However, found out today that this is a 1-way street: If you ever need to change ISPs, you'll have to cancel and re-apply!

Anyone try a transfer back to Telkom yet? Is the above really the case? (I would have thought that Telkom would welcome one back with open arms ...)

Hey cybersmart told me the same. They told me that I need to cancel completely and then re apply which could take up to 10 days. Now thats a long time of downtime. Although i see they state on their website that its not a problem if you are transfering the line to them but the problem is transfering the line from them. :?
