I bought a new laptop not long ago and i want to have my torrents moved from my old pc to this new one. Sadly i don't have the original torrent file/set up but only the .exe extension. Is there any way to move them?

....?
Do you want to move the files you torrented, do you want to move the index that e.g. utorrent has of it?
What exactly?

The files i have torrented, example. Lets say i downloaded Photoshop and i deleted the main set up file (the torrent i downloaded) and all i have now is the actual (.exe application).

What you're referring aren't torrents, they're pirated applications. The pain of moving bigger apps is probably worth more than just downloading them again. It's less effort to download GiMP tbh.

If you don't have the original torrented files then you cannot move them. Download again.

It's fine, i'll just redownload all of them again :)

You need the install files, registry changes, drivers, application data, etc.
A lot easier to re-download than to try and find everything.

True, thanks guys. I just assumed i could do it without having to re download but no biggie.
Lol

He is asking "Can I move installed apps from one PC to another", but does not know how to ask it correctly.

In most cases any modern programs wont just copy over, it needs to be installed ,stuff written to the registry, just for a start, and many other things, so the answer is no.

You can.

It's just a painful process thou.
You'll need to export reg entries, copy dll files and register those as well.

I have successfully did it for a couple of applications/games that just aren't available at the time.

Tl;Dr: Listen to the posters above.
