Does anyone know if it is at all possible?
eg. Can I use Shyft to convert ZAR to USD and then send those USD to my Easy Equities USD account?

reason being EE charge so much in their conversion and their rate is just a "mid days rate" effing madness I swear, crooks who does that.

Why not buy the shares on Shyft?

You can do an EFT deposit directly into EE, Citibank account... have a look at the EFT option on EE

wait no I looked at their fees, insane... like really insane.

If you bought $10,000 it would cost you $46!

Then they also charge you $20 a year for that $10,000

----- madness ----

Does their exchange rate make up for the fees compared to easy equities?

It's just 0.4% per trade and 0.20% per annum custody fee

If you bought $100 it would cost you $0.46!

Then they also charge you $0.20 a year for that $100

well give you an idea, I just check EE USD/ZAR rate right now, R18.36! ....and on Shyft its R18.08... I mean that is daylight robbery!

Ok no one has a pension of $100 unless you're a hobo under a bridge.

We're buying shares here, $10,000 or whatever amount. 0.4% per trade + vat is INSANE.

If your pension was worth R5m, then they would charge you R10,000 per year! Ummm... and in today's age a retirement pension of R5m is getting you nowhere.
