Yup and a lot of the time they can, I mean the one you hear on the radio wants to charge 2k to clear a blocked drain, cause they have a camera. I bought the rods and the drain is cleared, I also bought a pressure washer + hose extension, sure it cost me R2500 total for all of that, but I've used it a few times already.

I think much of the time its because people think plumbing/electrical/whatever is some dark art, when its actually not its just manual labour more often than not.

Yup cause it's done a fantastic job in the last 28 years, I mean lets just keep going on stupid ideas and policies.

The tenderprenuers are very happy about it, without transformation laws they would have never been able to insert themselves as middlemen taking a cut from the supply value chain.

Does the minister know that it is constitutionally ILLEGAL to unfairly discriminate against anyone, not just the PDI/HDI? These guys are now using BBBEE and EEA as a smokescreen to ensure the majority continually vote for them as the ANC is keeping the racially divisive policies open as long as possible with zero accountability towards non-PDI/HDI's

The whole concept of EE and how its implemented needs to be relooked at, and reconfigured for a country that is pretty much collapsing under the weight of government corruption and incompetence.

The worst part is that these policies were meant to uplift the ordinary disadvantaged man.

They instead created a little privileeged circle of billionaires who manipulated these policies to suit their greed.
