The break IS actually the clutch on an auto. When moving between D, N and R you should be using the break.
About 5 minutes. Tougher to go back to manual (but I'll never buy another manual).

No, it will take you a year to completely get over it.
When i switched, my left leg kept reaching for the clutch pedal.
Remember its muscle memory.
But dont worry, its not dangerous as your left leg is just pressing on air.

Sure there are people that benefit from an auto for health or other reasons, but they are simply not for me!
BTW I do not have any trouble switching but I hate driving autos. I drive one about once a week and I hate every single minute of the trip.
