Transnet could be "bigger disaster than Eskom"

“The assertion by ARIA that the rail industry as it pertains to Transnet ‘poses a sovereign risk’ to the country is presented so skewly and laced with so many incorrect statistics that we can only view this as an attempt to create exaggerated alarm, with the view to argue for a collapsing industry to enable wholesale privatisation of the freight rail industry to benefit a few members of ARIA at the expense of national interests,” said Transnet.
Always deflect, never admit or God forbit come up with workable solution.

Easy solution, we just track shed... share the tracks between all trains, employ teams to lift tracks every few hours and put them where trains are, there is no need to have tracks sitting unused for hours at a time where the trains aren't running for those hours, its wasteful

Waiting patiently to hear how exactly Jan is responsible for this one.
Cyril ANC doing eeny, meeny, miny mo (I won't continue :)); will be apartheid, colonisation, third wors, climate change, anti transformation whites, too much growth or just "challenges". Maybe a combination of a few of the choices. Only one thing is certain; no positive action, Mblabberlula in charge.

So I got an idea. Let all the roads just outside of the western cape collapse, so the railway and eventually we can build a big wall around our province. That way we can stop all migration here.

Jhb and Pretoria can have railways to Durban instead, and we can become our own country.

Just sad about 2 million non-cape people invaded our peaceful country to be

We dont need a railway to Gauteng or even roads that way. We just need to fix up our port and then we will be just fine. Who cares about the old Transvaal and Free State republics.

AND, don't forget that Saldanha is the deepest natural port in SA. FTW!
