Transparent Proxy Issues

I did. Well, via a web-based https proxy anyway. Should I try a different way?

It wasn't a huge deal, was trying to transfer some big files from work to home (left stupid flash drive behind) using upload.net. Tried to download them at home and it kept telling me I had exceeded my download limit.

At work now, so got the files, but not being able to use these will be occasionally inconvenient.

Same constant issue here with uploaded.net:mad:

Hahaha, ok, gotcha now. Anyway, no, they don't have https support it looks like. Installed https anywhere (firefox add-on) and had the same prob. Tried one or two other file transfer sites and same issue there. They all insist I'm already downloading, or have already downloaded the limit.

Considering the age of the thread and some earlier comments, I thought this problem was sorted. Guess not.

Will a paid account at one of these sites work?

And thanks for the input.

Thanks, I'll try that but I doubt if the request will be granted. What is the IP for the iBurst proxy?

Lemme know here what happens / if you get a reply. (And what IP you gave them.) If not, I'll try as well...maybe multiple requests will make a difference. (Maybe not.)

Can anyone access hearthpwn.com on the iburst network? I cant access anything on the curse network.

I plugged a PS4 into my network yesterday afternoon and I was able to complete the Easy network setup and it found a system update which it started downloading.
After an hour or so the download stopped and the PS4 reported it was no longer connected to the internet.
I left it, thinking it was a transient problem that would sort itself out.

This morning I tried the Easy network setup again and it kept stopping at the Proxy Server setup page. If I choose Do Not Use, after a few seconds it returns to the Proxy Server setup page.
If I do the Manual network setup and do not set a proxy server, the internet connectivity test fails. This makes me think the PS4 is unable to access the web server it uses for the connectivity test.

I've now set up a Tor proxy on my PC and configured the PS4 to use it and now the PS4 is happy that is online and downloading the update again, although very slowly.
