The City's indigent section is unrelated to Traffic Services. The old lady has since passed away and the matter remains unresolved. What I did gather from this is that if you are white and looking for support, you get scrutinised even though the application process involves a LOT of checking and all was deemed fine.

BTW Can you post anything without being rude or tossing insults (maybe not?).

As far as indigent goes, the DA can take over a year to allocate the grant, especially if you are white.

Why would someone being white impact their ability to get a grant? The DA dont treat you differently based on the color of your skin, you are more likely to be assessed based on your income levels.

You're wrong about racial quotas. I'm sure we can find examples of corruption, coverups and intereference with investigations in both the US and UK. So why not just give up on your fruitless attempts to paint communists as uniquely corrupt?

You do not get people in the police force not being promoted because of their race in the US and the UK. In the US, an individual state can ban it. In the UK racial quotas are illegal. So are my facts incorrect (if so correct them), or are you saying my opinion of racial quotas is incorrect, or both

I never said corruption didn't exist in either of those countries. What I said was that their governments as a whole respect their laws, especially court orders.

You have no idea and are part of the cult of DA. You will not or cannot see maladministration if it sat under your nose.

The Ombud probably buries everything, so it is a self-fulfilling process. They just don't get back to you.

No such thing as "Free". Cape Town ratepayers are footing the bill.

They are. But in return they get good quality roads, clean streets and parks, robots that don't stop working when it rains etc. So I hope they don't mind also paying to the poor. After all, the long term strategy of the Cape Town and Western Cape governments is not to keep people dependent on welfare forever. The various efforts to improve education in poor areas and encourage entrepenuership, cut red tape etc are aiming to make grant recievers into productive tax paying citizens. Or at least their children when they grow up.
