I've been tempted, but don't think the trees here at work need hugging. They are cold, corporate trees.

you probably over thinking it. It is probably something stupid like she just wanted to see how you would have reacted or she might have had an itch in her bush so decided to be discreet and scratch it on a tree rather than scratch in front of you..
