Trenching in StoneRidge- Centurion

Hi All
Hopefully some could shed some light on this post..
A few weeks ago i saw some trenching happening in the Stoneridge area, behind Stoneridge Country Estate, so according to the okes working on it, its Vodacom's fiber..

Does anyone know anything about this?

I believe thats to the cell tower to the west of the estate.

Thanks for the info , and here was me thinking/hoping to get fibre access...
