Trevor Noah lands sitcom

Judging by all the comments, it seems like everybody has their specific preferences when it comes to humour/comedy.

I on the one hand hate Chris Rock and love Jerry Seinfeld.

I think a comedy debate is similar to a religion debate.

As long as it makes you laugh, its good for you.

Pretty much this :p

I did enjoy his first show.

Trevor was on an episode of QI recently and I felt that he was completely out of his depth.

I can't really remember him making a funny comment or remark during the show. The only time he impressed the audience and other panel members was when he made all the Xhosa clicking noises for them. Apart from that he was a captain obvious most of the time.

Everybody Loves Raymond - 9 Seasons
George Lopez - 6 Seasons

doesn't sound like either one was bad....

let's see how long Robin Williams runs for.
I watched one episode of Robin Williams sitcom, wasnt funny at all.The writing sucks.

The term "sitcom" has been used since the 50's, if not sooner.

Seinfeld is basically where the term 'situational comedy' is derived from. Larry David is a god in the world of television because of it.
There's nothing wrong with loving Seinfeld but let not lift him to "God" status..
Another favourite of mine by comedians is Parks and Recreation, love that show

Trevor Noah's 'playful' jokes don't offend us * SA Jews

Apr 6, 2015 | Taschica Pillay

Trevor Noah's jokes are harmless. That is the attitude of the South African Jewish
Board of Deputies following this week's storm over accusations that the renowned
comedian had made anti*Semitic jokes.
