That was a tough old game of rugby. We were well in it for 50 minutes but the last 30 things fell apart some what. We lost that game in the loose IMO, Juan was no where, stoic on defense but never any where near the ball carrier and Schalk was but then the ref blew him out of the game and I guess PDV decided it prudent to sub him before he possibly got binned... Pierre was sublime today though, the ultimate athlete... I don't think SA played badly but we made stupid errors at crucial times in the match that put us under pressure. Steyn not finding touch with a penalty and then infringing from an off side position soon after... Can't blame him for the quick throw in, in our 22 but that put Jean under pressure and he threw the pass straight to Mealamu. Pity really, 19-0 is not a true reflection of that game, we were well into it 50 minutes in...

Also rule number 1 when it comes to test rugby, never play players out of position so what's with AD at 12 and Jean at 13? Conrad on the left wing? Steyn at fullback?

Anyway, let's hope we can take the Ozzies.. I think we can...

Blaming the ref is getting tired but he was crap!!!

FActs is fact, But I agree we should just have said Fsuck the ref we play our game and outrun the Convicts, but we did not. BTW we were in the game at 50 min as you said, but then PDV rang the changes. Even Joel remarked that that was one of the turning points. Taking Schalk off?? Pfft and for whom? Double pfft.Pffft

You guys should do yourselves a favour and switch to SS1 and Afrikaans language, the commentators say it like is, without being such arrogant tossheads such as the English commentators.

I don't normally do it, but today I wish I had. Unfortunatelt I were'nt in control of me own TV and had to listen to me own language for the whole damn time.
 
i watched griquas vs blue bulls last night, and that was a much better game.

today, i hang my head in shame. the rot is starting imho. sit on our laurels and now we get in a rut and people point and laugh.

massive game though, first half hour was thumping! but no points means you dont win, and new zealand scored and we didnt.
 
Whats PDV had... 4 games > 1 win, last 3 have been losses... can he get 4 losses on the trot?

He Couldnt of asked for a better start when he beat the kiwis - but its all been downhill since.
 
I wouldnt blame the ref, SA played crap from the kick off!
