Tribunal approves Vodacom merger

The Competion Tribunal has approved the merger between Vodacom, Global Telematics SA and Glocell

What does this means for the consumer, apart from vodacom getting a bit bigger?

The only thing I can see is that vodacom will become a monolithic service provider, which does not bode well for the consumer.

big companies = better bad service (not always)...
