Hi there,

the person has a panasonic flat screen tv which has only an AV input for sound, for the video i had to get a AV converter type thingy to make that work. Ok cool, so that is sorted, but my problem now is she has a big amplifier that she wants everything connected to - besides the amplifier she has a dvd player and a video player/dvd recorder she wants connected.

How will i be able to connect all these if the tv only has one set of AV inputs then?

How will i connect all these?

Thanks in advance.

Connect everything to the amplifier, and then connect the amplifier to the tv. Then select the input from the amplifier as needed.. Just get a amplifier with enough inputs for her needs and thats supports pass through if her existing amplifier doesn't have.

that or if her curent amp doesnt support passthrough and shes not willing to spend on a new amp, buy one of those AV switches, alows multible av in, and only one out so you keep the tv on one chanel and switch with that. but its anoying and dont think they come with remotes so she wil ahve to get up to switch

Hi there, thanks for the reply, appreciate it. Please advise, to which input should the AV cables come which will connect the AMP to the tv? Will all the different machines work through one video cable which is the one running from my AMP to the TV then?

Dude...

You really shouldn't be bidding for and doing jobs with this kind of stuff if you have no idea what you are doing....

Gerrit, where have you been?! I haven't had a good laugh in a while...

Every amp is different, so we can't tell you what to do. Also, if all else fails, RTFM.
