Tripod : Manfrotto or Vanguard

LOL ... that is really cool ... if I had the thread lying around, I'd make one now :P

Weight-wise, what is that on the 'tripod'? 5KG or something?

I don't have a scale but excluding the hood about 4.2kg according to specs.

Yeah - it was one of those I wonder if… moments. :)

Still, that tiny little ballhead is pretty strong considering.
