This is beyond ridiculous. TRL Tech blackmails the user by saying they will only refund the users money they basically stole after he deletes this thread on mybb.

This is black mail:

- Acknowledgement to remove the entire thread on the mentioned public internet forum within 24 hours after the refund has cleared in the specified bank account
- Acknowledgement to remove any other posts published about the matter, irrespective of the medium used.

You cannot illegally hold on to funds which are not yours because you are unhappy about bad publicity which, by the looks of it, you rightly deserve. (i.e. only return the funds under these conditions)

Must of missed it when it became the norm to hold ex-customers ransom.

Hi xrapidx,

I can assure you that we do not hold ex-customers ransom.
Once we have received the verification results, we will proceed to refund crysis as agreed with him.

This has got to be the worst PR ****up ever.

Well I'm making damn sure that nobody I know uses TRL Tech... and if I find someone who does I will point them in the direction of that thread and suggest they move away from TRL Tech.

IF you haven't realised Reuben...

We don't have any issues with your company in terms of technical stuff.... and I doubt Crowley is a client of yours.

What we are doing though is making sure your attempted blackmail of crysis doesn't go under the radar, and that anyone who is thinking of becoming a client of yours thinks again and instead opts of an ISP that will not steal their money and then try blackmail them when they try get their money back.

Eish: Some twisted stuff man...:wtf:

Written like a mind reader. Luckily you don't owe me any money so you can't use that to blackmail me to delete this thread.

Wow. The idiots who own businesses in SA Is unbelievable.

Awesome - more publicity for this company.

I'd like to point out that you missed this part, said user signed the contract... and still wasn't refunded.

Even though they wrote up an elaborate contract, forcing me to to remove this thread within 24hours etc, they have failed to live up to their side by still not refunding my account within 24 business hours of receiving the signed contract. They got it on Thursday last week. Which means, how can I take this contract seriously if they have already breached it?

Thieves will forever remain thieves. TRLTEch? NEVER!

How can that "management" read this thread/forum and still sleep at night. Maybe they do not have the brains to realize how many tech savy people and businesses read this forum, the stupidity is astounding.

wily me, there is no management.. its Reuben, and Reuben alone..

You only ended with 2 dots.

Do you intend on adding the 3rd one?

I don't believe that a contract such as that one is binding. It's extremely one sided and the consumer is protected against that sort of thing, even before the CPA. It would not stand up in court as it's pretty much extortion. We took your money and won't give it back unless you sign this contract.

Actually, wait, maybe I should deduct R100k from their account and do the same thing.

I'm getting the feeling Reuben is making a bolt for it. Grabbing the money and declaring bankruptcy, or something similar.
