Hey guys
This is the first time I post a problem on a blog in need of assistance and I hope there is a guru somewhere able to help me. I have a Cisco WAG320N router set up on a 4Mb Mweb uncapped, unshaped account. Had an old SMC router that worked perfectly, but got damaged by a power surge and bought the Cisco.
The problem is that I download an insane amount of movies, series, games, etc. I averaged around 900Gb per month. With the Cisco router I don't even get close to that due to the downloads not reaching their peak rate. The SMC is still working, but 2 of the LAN ports do not work and that complicated things a little with my setup. Thing is, when I disable the NAT router in the Cisco setup, the connection fires up and the torrents download at 400kB/s+ which is the optimum speed on the line. Problem then is that nothing else gets to use the connection, not even pinging www.google.com. No browser activity, nothing.
If there is anyone that knows of a solution to this issue, please help me. How do I get the NAT router disabled and still have connectivity on programs other than torrent handlers?
Thanks
