Truck burnings spread

Unidentified assailants attacked freight trucks on South Africa’s roads in a fourth province as lawmakers urged the police to act to stop the violence.

Its still small but will start causing very serious issues if it continues. A horse and trailer are not easily replaced, there is a significant lead time between purchase , delivery and on the road.

Something is definitely coordinated though, multiple provinces etc.

Deputy President Paul Mashatile said the government knows who is behind the attacks and is preparing to deal with the violence.
Yes please, we want consistency..

Not just that, drivers don't want to drive in or to certain areas unless we add additional security. Now we need to run around to find, and then pay high prices, for security escorts. In the end that cost to will reflect at the till or the shelves will simply run empty.

So they appeal to the people behind it to stop, but Paul claims they know who it is?

Yeah fscking left hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing anymore, let alone the right hand.
That's because it's an "inside job".

So nothing actually being stolen from the trucks?

Nope, nothing being stolen...

There is some endgame at play here, and very likely its factions within the ANC that are warring with each other while SAPS sits back and "monitors the situation"

So they beat up citizens that go to the beach or don't move out of the way for speeding blue lighters, but terrorists and economic saboteurs we ask them nicely to stop or even promote them? Good ol anc excellence yet again
