Trustworthy Mechanic in CPT???

Hi there,

So i'm sitting at that stressful point that i think everyone reaches when their car needs a service...

Let me start by saying that i am 23 now, and since i was 18 i have had NOTHING but absolute hell with mechanics and forking out THOOOUSSSANDS of Rand to "Fix" and "replace" things that just NEVER actually fix anything.

Can anyone recommend an honest, good place to go (Apparently they DO exist???) and have my car serviced where they are not going to try and take me for everything i'm worth and NOT worth for that matter... I dont earn much, and just dont have time or money to be fk'd around anymore by these greasy cnuts.

Any genuine recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

well i used the shell service center and they were quick effeciant did everything right the first time and were not expensive at all
had brilliant service from the branch in claremont don't know if they still there but they wow'ed me

Dont judge me! I have a Tata Indica. NOT my choice, but until i earn more it's what gets me to work and back... Unfortunately.

TBH, it's really not a bad lil car, but for someone who has ridden Bikes and grown up with racing all their life it just doesn't quite do the job ey! My GF loves it tho...

In Montague Gardens Engle Motors are great. Small so I wouldn't take cars with complex computers requiring tweaking to them but they really go out of their way to help.

They have recently moved so i don't know their landline number but I'm sure it is online.

If you're based in Milnerson / Blouberg side of the Cape, I take my Corsa bakkie to Autoworks (http://www.autoworks.co.za). They do a good job indeed.
