as long as it's not another damp squib like Manning's....
 
This guy is a true hero. Taking on the US Government to do what he believes in takes guts and determination. I hope the anon community will do what it can to protect this man and make it far too risky to touch him.
 
I haven't been following this Snowden thing, what reason did he give for finally deciding to blow the whistle on a job that he could have refused to do?

Mr Sniper Rifle will cause a massive embarrassment for the US Government and Obama if he was to go off and kill Snowden. One thing to have him in the cross-hairs ... a whole different matter to pull that trigger. If they were to kill him without a trial it will be the biggest scandal in ages ... the blowback will be enormous. It is absolutely in the US Gov and Obama's interests to get/keep him alive at any cost.

"Refuse to do" ... and just walk away and let someone else do it? Cowards do that.

If such plebs Like Snowden and Manning can use USB sticks and CDs to download low level information without being detected then imagine the juicy information that the higher level access stuff might contain.
Pity that is the information we'll never hear about.
 
Come now Arthur. You are more objective than that. We know you have a soft spot for the US. And that is exactly why one must support what Snowden did. One cannot support the US Government abusing its powers over US citizens, or anyone else. Not so. Or do the US Government the good guys in this story and the US citizens, like Snowden, the bad guys?

Anyone who truly loves US citizens will support Snowden standing up against the abuses of his own Government that do not act in accordance with the Constitution of the US of A but against it. When the Constitution is cast aside the US will falter as a nation and as a torchbearer for freedom and democracy. If the Constitution is to be sidestepped then the US Government can, like North Korea, hand out Mein Kampf to all its military and LE leaders.
