Tshwane mail centre completely stopped by striking workers

With the number of strikes going on maybe they should just report on who is not striking!

I've been waiting 2 months for packages from overseas.

I asked a colleague in SA to try the 0860 numbers and there are also no answers on them.

My colleague has been on hold for more than 40 minutes, still no answer.

I was on for about 20 min yesterday.

And they want to deliver textbooks.
ffs. privatise it these clowns can furk up anything.

Eventually got hold of a person who can't believe that the letter still hasn't been picked up at the post office. These types of letters are supposed to be delivered internationally within 4-5 working days. She says she is going to send a driver there now to pick it up...

I really feel for people like these who are surrounded by blithering idiots.

Phoned the post office and asked to speak to the manager. She says that the letters are no longer there, they were picked up last Thursday. Asked her why the tracking information is non-existant and still only says Highveld Park. She says that she has proof that it is no longer there. Ask her to fax the proof, she doesn't have a fax machine. Ask her to scan and email the proof, she doesn't have a scanner. Ask her to email a letter saying that the letter is no longer there... *long pause* Ok, give me the tracking information and your contact information and I will try to find it... OMFW

I should have brought the letter with me to Germany and posted it with normal mail from here. Would have been in Australia last week already.

Any idea if SAPO have a track and trace facility that actually works?

Have 3 packages coming (am in Pretoria) but can't get the damned site to behave.
