Hi guys

So recently moved to the area, applied for fibre and got up and running yesterday, took a week to fix the existing line.

Only to find out this morning the WAN is down, I have a funny feeling this is going to be the norm with this provider.

Anyone else experiencing issues or just me?

Do you have Vumatel or Open Serve in your area?
TTConnect are not terrible but are by far the worst FNO i have seen.

I guess I have never really dealt with a terrible FNO. They are by far the worst, but still... not terrible.

Vumatel is fine.
Openserve has been the best.
Frogfoot also great.
TTConnect.... meh...not impressive but the internet is on more than it is off.

Frogfoot is currently all I have available to me (in PE), should I decide to go with fibre, but it doesn't have a good name in these parts.

That is unfortunate to hear.
Used them at 3 locations in CPT and they have been great... I wonder what's going on in PE :(

Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Almost 4,500 comments in just over 3 years (224 pages) ; admittedly, not all of them complaints, and generally been quieter lately, so maybe improvement ?

Summed up in a very recent post (but unrelated thread, which this became as well, for which I apologise, for my part in it) ....

Now if only Frogfoot would admit to the same.
Daily problems with brief dips and packetloss at random - ongoing since inception 2 years ago with brief periods of relief in the Gardenroute / PE area.
