Hi All,

I'm looking for a nice tuna pasta recipe.

I usually use:

Pasta
Can of tuna
1 Onion
1 Green pepper
Mayo
Salt and pepper

Does anyone have any variations on this? Looking for something new.

mmm my girlfriends friend makes it by mixing the tuna in mayo-its very basic as you can see but for a nice quick lunch then yeah :)

Baked tuna pasta

Boil pasta I like the screws or penne for this

Fry onion,( add peppers if you like) I like it when the onions is still a bit crunchy so i just heat it up a bit just so that it's not completely raw.
Add spices to taste i like the garlic and herb kind. Ina Paarman

add can of tuna ( one can for two or 3 people)
add can of tomato and onion mix
Heat up
Cut +/- 250g cheese into small cubes (i like strong cheddar)
Mix Pasta and tuna mix, then add cheese mix well.

put in to baking tray

Mix half a packet of cream of mushroom soup and 250ml cream heat up until it just starts to thicken.

Pour over tuna and pasta mix

Bake for 45 min to and hour at 175 C- you will see the cream mixture starts to boil in the centre.

I sometimes add mushrooms and instead of soup i make a white sauce with the cream.
You can also add bacon

I also do a mean tuna pasta salad. It just works beter in summer.

Layer the following:
Tuna
Sauteed shrooms
Your best white sauce
Green lasagne (or green tagliatelle)
Cheese
Make as many layers as you like and top off with cheese and thinly sliced, seasoned tomato.
Bake till it bubbles then grill till the top cheese gets crispy... yummers!

BigAl's Tuna & Farfalle. Very quick, very easy and very tasty. Sometimes I add a bit of tomato, sometimes wine instead of water - all variations work.

hmm, feeling peckish...
