No it was a just cheap ass motherboard. This is a problem I noticed from the start, people going with the cheapest components they can muster and struggling to sell them again. Go with better components at double the price and they have a much longer shelf life and you can get a good price for them. And cpu and memory DOES matter in mining. I proved this by running cpu mining in parallel and the gpu mining ground to a halt.
