Tutorial DRIFTA on ANY Android Device

Err, anyone tested this on a tablet?... specifically the 10.1v?
 
honeslty i renamed mine to galaxy s yesterday but ive not able to test as i dont have my drifta wityh me
 
Just tested on my HTC Desire HD, working!! Woohoo!! Now I can watch the RWC at work, awesome!!
 
Just tested on my 7" HTC Flyer and also works, @#$#@$ awesome dude!!!

WesleyR, are these devices of yours rooted - or just standard ?

I want this on my Xoom
 
Both devices are rooted to the max!! :-) Running Honeycomb on my Flyer already!
 
Can one access build.prop on a non-rooted device ?

Edit : OK, thanks, I see that you need to root.
 
Flyer is running very nicely!

Picture quality on the DHD is not too bad. I mean you can't expect HD quality, but it's definitely watchable.
 
it seems u need root for this to work
coz the t2 file was disabling device check but it still did not work
it means the app was still able to see the device is not one of the listed ones

i changed mine from "galaxy s" to the gt-9000 as u said
wil try soon

as long as its the same quality like on the iphone its cool

OK, It's not working on the 10.1v. The app opens, I get the channel selection options, but then it crashes when connecting to the channel to display the picture...

Does anyone have the t2 version that was posted?... I wonder if that might work.

EDIT: mmm, the HTC Flyer, it's running Gingerbread right? Maybe this is a Honeycomb issue ...

Maybe someone should give it a try with original version? or does that check for root?
 
Well done! Personally a bit hesitant to root my devices, but very tempting.
 
Sadly no root is possible yet for my HTC Wildfire S with s-on. I'll be waiting a little while longer it seems.
