This tv card will only allow you to watch stuff like sabc and etv - nothing that is encoded, like dstv. And as far as I know, you will always have to plug a cable from an antenna into the tv card in your computer.

It appears that you cannot view full screen (720*480, etc), which is ok. Is recording also done at the viewing resolutions?
