TV does kinda suck now...

I guess I can’t say I ever really was a collector.

My old man had a huge CD collection and we shared a lot of our taste in music so what I had was mostly supplemental to that and every single one is a Deluxe or Special Edition of some nature which is still in a cupboard somewhere but I would guess less than 25 units in all.

Never had any interest in collecting movies or TV Shows as I don’t watch things more than once and what I own now digitally is more because the price was right and because of family sharing.

2011 when the iPad 2 came out is when I started reading digitally and haven’t looked back since. My wife and kids have some physical books here and there, but I find it extremely limiting as I can’t read in the dark.

I’m annoyed for not taking some of my old man’s records when he passed away. Not because I wanted to play them but for what they were eventually sold for I could have turned them into some wall art instead.

@Lupus , household says no to the DVD's, sorry. Will PM if there's a change of mind one day.

But can give you about 80 x clean CD-R 's (700 MB each)

Sure it was great when we first got arching long tv shows, but they also didn't have 3 year gaps between seasons and seasons are so short 8 to 10 episodes if we're lucky.
I mean I barely even remember what happened in Stranger things and by now it's completely lost it's hype.
Umbrella academy also fizzled out, hell even things like the Boys, Incredible and Vox Machina take forever to release.

Yes shows and or movies sucks - thank their "vibe coders" and mass production with space fires (acolyte), but he literally posts the same (unintelligent) kak every week to point this out again and again for the uninitiated / I have no mind / ai thinks for me / mentally incapacitated.

So yeah, not really one to talk about it.
