Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me, with the recent upgrade to DSTV i am unable to make use of my remote blasters to change channels in my bedroom

My setup is a follows:

DSTV decoder 1110+ 2 in the living room, with the signal split to my bedroom tv and the living room tv via RF-OUT

I recently purchased a TV-eye from ellies to attempt to enable remote control from the bedroom, but it does not seem to work

What am I doing wrong and how should i connect things

Thanks

Mac

Did you enable it in the software?
Are you using one of the new remotes?

Ok

1)As above have you enabled the tvlink on the decoder
2)Is the red light on the splitter on, i.e. is the splitter getting power?
3)what type of splitter are you using need to allow dc pass

Hi I'm Frits......I also need help. I enable it and I'm using one of the new remote. Can you reply me as soon as possible?

I like those buggers that are part of a coax cable. Splits into coax and eye towards end! They quite neat

The important part is:

Enable it in the decoder software (power is then output through the RF out connector)

If you are using splitters, make sure that the eye is connected to the splitters "DC PASS" end (this will ensure that the EYE is powered.
