I just use a printed bank statement, or utilities bill.

Don't see why I need to pay SABC R250 per year for the pleasure of having one of those, when things i really NEED give me the paperwork I require anyway.

Why pay taxes? Not like you get anything for them.

Well, the following comes to mind:
1. Salaries for Government Employees - this creates decent jobs where you do not have to do anyting
2. Education, when the teatchers feel like it
3. Roads, not toll roads, only the ones with pot-holes, they can employ people again to do decent jobs by not really fixing them
4. Police
5. Speitcops
6. Rebuilding of burnt down government buildings, schools and libraries destroyed during protests. This is an important source of tender income for friends and relatives of politicians.

etc. etc.

i'd hate to contemplate what would happen if the masses didn't have state tv
