I have Twincall and my Primary phone is with me and my Secondary in my Car. My Primary phone is always on, when i start my car, the Secondary phone switch on automatically. Then when I stop and switch off the car, the Secondary phone switch off automatically. Then I have to switch my Primary phone off and then on again to recieve calls...this is frustrating(can sometimes forget to switch off and on, and then miss all the calls)! Do any one have a solution?

Get yourself a proper bluetooth carkit, then the carkit picks up your phone when you start the car.

I use my Twincall sim for when going out, don't want to carry a big phone with me the whole night.

Port over to MTN and get DualCall. Both phones can be on at the same time, Primary will ring first, then starts ringing on secondary before diverting to Voicemail. You can even make calls between the two simcards.

Have you tried airplane mode? Might be enough rather than a full restart.

Tried the airplane mode, just too much of a hassle. I will either get a proper bluetooth device of radio with gps/bluetooth... Thank You!

I had DualCall from MTN for the last 15 years and I am not paying any additional. I think it is only for new DualCall subscribers.
My Vodacom Twincall unfortunately always had the problems you are explaining. I actually removed the simcard from the phone in my BMW because everytime the driver moves it to the washbay at the office I had to switch off my Primary phone and restart.
