Twisp - Electronic cigs

I am so keen on getting one of these, but right now I just don't have the cash. Will definitely check out Twisp when my bank account allows it, though...

I call for more deadly smoking, more nicotine and more tar. We have too many people on earth and the more ones that needed vises, like smoking, dies the better.

Clearly you are against smoking...

So let me ask you this:

How is it that you found it necessary to comment on a thread that isn't a debate about smoking itself, but rather a discussion about a device that not only stops smokers from polluting the air and the lungs of those around them, but also prevents the horrible smell, effectively telling them all you want them to die? I mean, was it really so necessary for you to join in on this discussion about something that clearly doesn't concern you in the least? I assume you aren't a smoker, so how is this thread even relevant to you? Are you desperate to start an anti-smoking flame war?

Also, by increasing the amount of tar an nicotine in cigarettes, it would be just as likely to kill you as the second-hand smoke (which, just by the way, this particular product completely cuts out) will now be even more deadly to you.

Unless you have something worth while to add to this thread other than your hatred for smokers, perhaps you should stay out of it.

I am for smoking, drinking a lot, doing drugs, playing with guns, driving without seat belts, hell - anything that gets rid of stupid people actually :-) I like it when people do that and I am there for not anti any of that.

Peter Ucko gave Twisp a bashing on Cape Talk yesterday, and suggested they were sponsored by "Big tobacco" to keep people on nicotine. It has to be better than smoking tobacco though.

Just shows you that Peter Ucko or whatever is an idiot. He did not do his homework properly! If he bothered to look at the site he would have seen that there is a "No Nicotine" option available - a fact that kicks his stupid "Big tobacco" theory out the door. :D

Umm,this is a stupid question but how do u knw when to stop? A ciggie gets to the filter nd u stop, this do u just keep smoking it till the cartridge runs out or u think uve had enuf.

Yes it is like learning a new habit, but nicotine is an amazing thing.

Did you know that nicotine actually has 2 effects depending on dosage?

small puffs will act as a stimulant, but higher doses have a sedative effect. Thats why patches and gum don't work, because the dosage cannot be dynamically metered as with a cigarette. Smokers alter their dosage throughout the day subconsciously depending on what their addiction is asking for.

With a twisp, you will generally use it quite heavily for the first few days, and less and less after that. About 10 puffs per use and then you just put in down or in your pocket. i picked up an analogue cigarette the other day and I coudn't believe how light and nothingy it was :)

These cigarettes might not be as safe as claimed.
WHO are essentially engaging in scaremongering, begging the question. What really amazes me is that tobacco is allowed, but we have some countries declaring electronic cigarettes dangerous drugs and banning them. Just shows the stupidity and hypocrisy. Are these bans even about health and safety or is it to protect the tax revenue from tobacco?

their long-term health effects, he said.
We'll find out eventually.

information about e-cigarette contents
Then require labelling. I continue to question their agenda in attacking electronic cigarettes.

With patches that's probably true, but certainly not the case with gum. On the other hand cigarette smokers will typically just smoke the whole cigarette regardless of how much nicotine they're after.

It is sad that these new ones are safe for use. I like the idea that addiction kills and nothing give me more satifaction than seeing smokers and knowing that they are a weak human that needs something to get by. I like to picture them at the age of about 50 when their lips looks like a cats anus from sucking to much butts :p

So you're one of those sick and twisted people that take pleasure in other peoples pain?

and as for calling a smoker weak... I challenge you to try and kick a habit that is as insidious as nicotine... please take your high and mighty and quickly frankly BS attitude elsewhere... its not welcome here.

No, only smokers and druggies :p

and as for calling a smoker weak... I challenge you to try and kick a habit that is as insidious as nicotine...
Oh yes - I forgot, it was the nicotine that made you do it... sorry my bad.

please take your high and mighty and quickly frankly BS attitude elsewhere... its not welcome here.
And yours ?

Do you take any prescription medication?.. do you drink?... if so, you're no better than they are...

No, it wasn't the nicotine that made anyone do it.. it was USUALLY peer pressure, but kicking the habit after its started isn't the easiest thing in the world....

My high and mighty attitude at this point in time is directed at shooting down your nonsense overly opinionated posts... they're getting irritating.

Of course, drugs and smokes are medication - doh! how could I have been so blind.
But to answer your question, no, I do not take anything - I'm good thanks :D Except for my hugely over inflated ego :p

No, it wasn't the nicotine that made anyone do it.. it was USUALLY peer pressure.
Of course it was not you, those pesky peers... tsk tsk.
Why not kick the habit and become HealtyBunny?

There is nothing you can do that I have already done to myself ;)
Just be nice, be nice to me. Don't let me go, I am too cool for the second...... GRADE!

Useless facts : Did you know 33% of what I wrote was quoted from a song by Mindless Self Indulgence, how suitable.

Ouch killa, that sucks man :( This twisp thing looks interesting, would you recommend it?
