Wow cool. What device do you have btw?

Also, what device do you have?
And you say "elsewhere"? Have you used non-twisp juices in your twisp device?
I also prefer some nicotine kick coming from cigarettes, so as this goes along i'll see if I can reduce the nic content. Hoping for the best here, but so far I've managed to replace some cigarettes with the twisp. Those ones you just light up for no reason at all lol.
I have an Aero right now. I've tried a lot of other juices and, apart from some of the ones I had in UK, I haven't been able to find a viable tobacco flavour. I went from two to three packs a day to none so I'm happy puffing the 18mg.

And how long did it take to get to no cigarettes?

I bought myself a Smok Stick prince a few months ago. Went from a pack a day down to about a pack a week.

The coils costs R50 each so I just buy a new coil every few weeks when I go buy my juice.

I've been using the cue recently and I've found it to be the best compromise between vaping and smoking... The pods are just stupidly convenient

Yes I've seen that on the website but someone advised me against that and rather use the clearo. I was told I would end up spending more for those pods as compared to atomizers and juice for the clearo in the long run. I guess it depends how long the pods last.
How long have they lasted you?

Its definitely more expensive than the liquid and atomisers and whatnot..

But each pod comfortably lasts me 3 days which is 2 days longer than a box of smokes for the same price basically.

So far, I could find only one flavour that tastes like proper tobacco - Nasty Juice Gold Blend. I used the 6mg and 3mg, both were awesome.

clearo 2.. twisp had a special running about a month back..bought 2 for R1100.. so also quiet new to it
Yeah special is still on as per the website.

Just a question, after refilling with juice, I hear a 'bubbling' sound as if juice went into the airways. Is this normal? I take care not to let any go into the centre tower while filling. I also pour a few drops on the coil directly so may be this causing it?

So far, I'm still trying to get my preferred juice. The toasted tobacco was too harsh on the throat and the tobacco #1 8mg seems a bit light for me coming from cigarettes.
Will finish these and then try the tobacco #1 18mg.

the bubbling sound is the activator as i understand it, nothing to worry about.. when i refill i dont worry about adding a few drops to the coil, its already there from when you had it filled the last time, but cleaning it daily ensure you get a smooth flow when you smoke

Twisp with their Clearo 2 is generation 2 old stuff. You will not give up stinkies with that. Get the real thing like in generation 4 tackle that taste exactly like real stinkies.
Most seasoned real vapors have moved on from the Micky Mouse Twisp and their expensive products. Mix your own juice and make your own coils for a fraction of the price.
It will become a hobby.

Ok yeah definitely due to dropping juice on the coil itself. I was doing that everytime I filled up.

Just another newbie question regarding replacing the coil. I know they say you will get a burnt taste etc. but I read in the manual that the bottom led flashes or something? Does this happen to you? At this point, can I use the device at all if I don't have a coil at hand just to last me the day?
Does the coil 'blow' immediately or is it a gradual thing? Meaning will I get a burnt taste immediately or feel it setting in over a few hours? How else will I know to replace the coil if the bottom led doesn't flash?
TIA

i dont know about the led thing, when i purchased mine, they told me that i will get a burning taste in the throat and the draw will be much harder... i replaced my coil when i started getting the burning taste which wa sabout after a month, but its not a trainsmash, you can keep it for a day or 2 until you get another one... just yesterday i bought 2 packs of 3 coils for about R150 from clicks...

My device displays the ohms of the coil and stays at 1,9 for weeks and then slowly increases to 2,2 ohms with time and the taste gets duller. This is when I replace it. Coils do not typically decrease in resistance with time but increase.
