DJ Black Coffee has faced a backlash after performing in Israel, despite calls for a cultural boycott.
JOHANNESBURG – Social media users have slammed DJ and record producer Nkosinathi Maphumulo, better known as DJ Black Coffee, for performing in Israel.
People said he had indeed sold out by defying calls for a boycott of Israel because of its treatment of Palestineans and "occupation" of land.

I found this interesting, given the situation in Israel - also heard perspectives from both sides. Some people are defending him, saying that he is just getting paid - why should the political situation concern him. Others took him to task though because he once declined a gig in Swaziland, saying that he will not perform there while Swazis are suffering.
