Much like youtube, twitters value is drowning in a sea of stupid. It's the nature of the these platforms.

Both Twitter and Youtube are world changing platforms, but a tool is only as good as its operator.

Its what you make of it.

I get great content on Youtube, the AI has learnt what I like and I get high quality shows that are really informative and that I want to watch.

I follow a couple of hundred people on Twitter and have made sure that the people I follow produce good fun content. So my twitter stream is really usually full of fun original content.
If I followed thousands of people and of any type then I would have a very poor quality twitter experience.
