Saw that.

And see that house (No 5) that just washed away? It iswas right across the road from (what once was) the parking lot.

My SO and I looked to purchase the house next door (No 6) sometime around 1994/95! After many arguments, we eventually declined (kept our existing house, which we still live in to this day, and bought a flat as an investment) - she hated the colour of the tiles and bath! (it was a yucky mushroomish colour :sick:)
 
Most of Southern Africa could do with some rain although a bit late for crops; just not all at once please.

Drought one year. Floods the next. Africa isn't for sissies...

P.S. Floods can also cause potable water shortages, because of damage to infrastructure (see KZN floods).

Our beloved Gordon is getting old, it seems.

For now, hopefully it can all be attributed to mid-morning coffee jitters ...
