I was wondering if it is possible to have two accounts from different ISPs on one line, as I am looking to switch from mine to another immediately but you need to give a 30 day notice of cancellation.

You can on the data side, but would have to switch between the 2

How would you do that? I am currently on web but I'm being throttled for the next two weeks, so I want to switch to webafrica. So I would only be using the webafrica side as I wait for the mweb cancellation.

Do not go with web africa. I was there for over a year. its just not worth it. I actually believe they have a support system that is worse than telkom. and that is saying something.

go with VOX or Crystalweb. I went Vox and I am happy so far.

and also switching is easy.
you go in to your router settings, find the DSL login info and put your new details from the other ISP in there. boom done.

now just get rid of Mweb, at the end of the month and then you will be sorted.

That^ Afrihost is also a good option

they were, then they were bought by MTN and were terrible, but apparently they fixed that.

but I am personally not giving them another chance. the mess up with MTN has been too bad of an experience, and with the amount of choice we have around there is no need to give them a second chance.
that and the rigging the votes to get best ISP, cannot trust them at all. (IMHO)

DO you perhaps know the price of vox 4mb/s uncapped accounts? And at what data limit do you get throttled?

But then you don't need two...you'll be running one at a time.

So just put the login details for the other one into your router and off you go.

The problem I have with vox is that it like R50 a month more than mweb and the threshold is really low.
I use a capped account.
Pay for what you use. Bis was never any good. Buying data was always a better way to connect. I view uncapped packages in the same light as bis.

So I now have an account with webafrica, and I changed the router settings to them, but it still gives me the same speed I got with mweb throttling.

LOL, ok, that is funny..

To get back to your original issue, you can get a Mikrotik router with a ADSL router in bridge mode to switch your accounts, but so much effort? It's over-engineering, just get a capped account from a good ISP, cancel and forget about the other accounts.

Also test your DSL line, maybe you have a faulty line and not a throttled account...
