Two fibre lines at one property?

Question is it possible to have two fibre lines at a single property address? We have a church and Kindergarten sharing one line, but it ain't working.

When calling the ISPs, different agents/ISPs are giving me different answers. When trying it online, I get the follwing:
"Location has an active service with another ISP."

Has anyone had any success?

Yes, it is possible to have two different provisions... for example You could have one active provision with OpenServe via the overhead Telkom Telephone poles and another active provision via the Vumatel underground fibre lines and the fibre box on your wall.

It all just depends on what is available in your area.

Silly street is a bloody example because I obviously don't know what your actual street name is..

The point is, adding a letter to the street number like b, can help indicate that there are two residences at the same address..

Or if you live on a Corner property, then use the street on the other side.

No, I've done it before more than one unit on the same stand got fibre by just changing the street address to no 1A, B, C etc. There is normally more than one fibre cable in the box on your wall outside for just this/backup purposes.

Edit: The ISP I used had to escalate this with Vumatel who had to create an additional "site" on their system, which took about a week.

Below is the current set up. But we (the Kindergarten) have been having issues, as the main router and fiber box reside in the church. Kindergarten does not always have access to reset the reouter (e.g. after loadshedding), which means they can wait 1--2 days before someones opens up at the church..

Background:
- The church and Kindergarten share the same property/address in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
- The fiber box/modem and Wifi router reside in the church.

Issues:
- The wifi router does not provide enough coverage for the Kindergarten to access the internet.
- There is one extender going to one of the classes; which works.
- there is another access point (or is it router? see picture title kindergarten.jpeg) set up for another class with a cable to the fibre router, but apparently the "port is not opened" - not sure what this means. Apparently Vumatel needs to open this port?

Why don't just put your address into the OpenServe Coverage map and see if you are covered by them?

Then apply for a new ISP connection using OpenServe as the backbone?

Vumatel normally only have 1 port on the fibre CPE open the access point needs to go into the Zyxel router and all the ports on that will be open. Only the Vumatel CPE (fibre box) has ports that are limited
 
I see you applying for Webafrica? There is a rep on here but why not approach a better ISP? One with real support? I am sure it would be easier to get things sorted by reaching out to the knowledgeable reps on here?

The ISP you would like to use needs to log a premise creation ticket for an additional line. It will get approved subject to fibre strand availability for Vumatel or subject to splitter port availability for gpon.

Is Openserve also Fibre? is it similar to Vumatel. Sorry have not heard of them?
