I'm new here and hope this is the correct section

Me and a friend got both ADSL accounts, I'm from telkom(do broadband) and he's from Mweb.

When I connect with my account from home there is no problem browsing and downloading, but when my friend comes over he wants to use his account. Everything seems perfect, his account works and log us in and were connected, but we can do anything, we don't recieve any data packets. Meaning, we can't even go to google nor any other site.

What could be the problem?
PS: I'm new to this.

Is he still logged in at home? Maybe Mweb don't allow 2 concurrent connections. Just a guess.

Nope, he is not logged on. Could this be something on Telkoms side? This also appears to happen when trying to use my sister's account which is from a diffrent ISP. If I can't reslove this problem right away, I'll ask one of my buds at work who is also at telkom to come over and log in to see if it's something with my line.

It may be restricted to a particular DSLAM - but afaik, that prevents authenticating too.

Or - you have set your DNS server to Telkoms DNS
Although that also should not matter - in theory.

First answer is correct one if his login details are still in his router at home then his mweb acc wont be usuable - mweb allows 1 CONNECTION ONLY - connecting at your house would make it 2 and would do what you stated above not allow packets to be sent or recieved.
