Its ironic that they aren't making a noise about the development.... seeming as they actually use the site and have done for some time.

saw them aswell as i drive past Liesbeek , thought it was those zionist fantics that just decide tommorow that a hill is holy and pilgramage to it en mass. who decides whats holy land or not:ROFL:?
 
I’ve been an atheist for as long as I can remember, but I can’t imagine feeling anything but sorrow and sadness for what happened to these people. They were participating in an event that meant a lot to them, not hurting anyone else or anything.

And we don’t know the circumstances, maybe they were pressured to attend even against their best judgment, or even convinced by organisers that it would be safe. Just really, really sad. The youngest missing is a 3 month old baby.

Even though I don’t think it exists, I hope their grieving families find some comfort in believing they are in heaven.

I hope they put some processes in place to prevent this from happening again. There should be a formal registration, safety assessment process in place before they gather. And organisers should be held accountable if they flout the process

Maybe different? African Zionists wear blue and have areas with a ring of white stones etc where they meet. Shembe is a relatively small sect and, as far as I know, limited to KZN. They have been enmeshed in squabbles extending to a court case as to their leadership. Google will, I'm sure correct me and provide more detail.
 
A group of people were seen performing church rituals somewhere along Jukskei river; probably the same spot others disappeared. Saw a tweet this morning, and a pic of the group.

There are many groups that wear white and congregate in bushes, some are African Zionists.

Those are not Shembe but Masowe church members. Its from Zim. They both were white=robes mostly.
