Hey

On Test Drive unlimited, I have 2 screens and should be getting a 3rd, how do I make it so like the car is on all 3, not copied but like the left hand side on the left and etc, like you are actually in the car.

Any ideas?

thanks

depending on the graphics driver software there is usually a setting that allows for this to be done.

Ok,thanks, I have the latest Nvidia drivers with a Gigabyte 9600GT, will check it out in the Control Panel

EDIT: where do i change this setting?

You might have to get extra software to get this to work as games usually display through 1 and only 1 VGA/DVI port, unless you already have it working on 2 screens in which case you can add another.

Just go into the settings and make sure it's spanned across

Hey, correct me if i am wrong but i thought only the newer model ati cards that support eyefinity are able to use 3 screens for gaming.

speaking about 3 screens, which games support that? Will dirt 2 be one of those?

EDIT: And from which range will the "newer" cards be?

Yes dirt 2, NFS shift, call of duty, left 4 dead, WOW and a few others support it. ATI 5400 series upwards support eyefinity.

SIX screens? How does that work? Is it like in a car?

That is pretty cool.. but it's a bit much.. (2/3 GPU?)

You will need to be running an Ati card with eyefinity. You will then need to have at least one of your monitors that has a native display port OR get a converter which are rare as hens teeth and dam expensive.

Only then will you be able to play on 3 monitors.

Sigh.. so anything below that won't be able to play.. Like I have a 4830.. that won't support it? What about if get a cheap-o ATI card? And then I cross fire them...

Will it be able to support it then?

Nope, you have to have a 5xxx series card to run on 3 monitors. Its called eyefinity. Even if you added another card its not going to work, its not the power that does it, its the technology.
