Nail In Anchor
Hi all.
What is the name of that type of screw which comes with plastic sleeves?
LOL. Walk in Checkers, Spar, Makro, or any hardware store tor that matter and you would see them displayed on the shelves.
Yes, but asking it here would be less effort since the only time I will have time to walk into any of those shops will be at 5 pm this afternoon and I needed this urgently in the morning.
Yes it does seems hard seems hard to get the name, my niece is doing a project and she must stay clear of brand names, I think nail in anchor is the best description so far.
Ok. Accepted, but you can buy them at Spar, Checkers and P&P untill 8pm tonight.
No I don't need to buy them, i just needed to know what they are called as most of the names used are brand names, Hilti, Fischer, Tru Fix etc.
Nail In Anchor
Wall plug.
And last night I had to throw 2 into the wall,
OK, OP, you do know those are two different things?
Many still call any vacuum cleaner a hoover. Is that not a brand name? I was looking for a specific generic term.

I think nail in anchor is more spot on, wall plug might just be confused with the 220V one.
Add a picture if you have to.OK, OP, you do know those are two different things?

So call it a wall plug and screw = nail in anchor.
Seeing the thread title I expected something completely different from what I found in here.
