Typical TELKOM, OMG

Ok this is so freaking tipical of telkom. I moved into my new flat, which didnt have any telkom lines yet. So i order ADSL 384 and a standard telkom line(required). I asked them if im going to pay double installation costs, for the rental line(R300) and for the ADSL(R385) and they said NO, you only pay the R385 install fee... AND guess what, they charged me for both installations, so tipical, im going to POO on the sales lady desk tomorrow.

they did exactly the same to us... we got a wooping R1900 bill for the first month and only have a 384kbs line
 
dude why did you ask them if you knew it was going to happen?

1900 for what?

400 install and 2 lines rental shouldnt be more than 1k and then youve paid for the follwing month

i dont see the problem with this
 
With my recent move they charged me for a modem, which I did not request (I have had DSL for a couple of years) and did not receive.

How stupid can one company really be?
 
they are not stupid

they add those on the ppl who dont know better pay and telkom rake in the cash

if they get caught they act like twas a mistake
 
you can get away without paying an installation fee for ADSL even if they did come round. Just call the customer complaints line at Telkom, claim they never did an installation and that you did a self install, and they will credit your account. It works, trust me.
