So anyways, I’m moving at the end of the month and I’ve been fighting with telkom to get them to cancel my ADSL and telephone line at my current address. A simple request you might think but apparently this particular kind is quite a foreign concept to them and they are completely unable to comply even after numerous phone calls, faxes and threats of speaking to supervisors. However, this morning I get a call from a telkom technician informing me that they are ready to go ahead with my new ADSL installation at the new address… besides the fact that this sort of nippy service is unprecedented, I havn't even moved in yet. They're seemingly quite happy to accommodate new business but reluctant to let go old.
 
Well, atleast ull have ADSL at ur new location, by the time u move in, some people here have been waiting for months, just 2 get a new installation :) Consider urself lucky :)
