So basically I drive a polo vivo with 14” tyres.. (Tires aren’t in great condition)
I had a situation where 2 of my tires got punctures..to the extent of not being able to plug it.. a friend of mine owns a tire store in Zambezi.. for two good year efficient grip tires I paid R1250.00 obviously he gave me a better than marked price.. so I still had 2 shitty tires on my car and 2 new tires..

But at the same time, he introduced me to a Tyre sealant called SEAL.. and he showed me a sample Tyre which literally had about 80 holes in it and stabbed it in front of me.. air came out for approximately 1-3 seconds and sealed up..

In that moment I requested it on all 4 of my tires.. it costed me R600.00 for ALL 4 tires and bear in mind 2 tires are new and 2 are old tires to the extent of it needs to be replaced anyways..

So I attempted this on one tire that needs the be changed anyways.. I stabbed the tire (mind you, it’s difficult to stab a tire)

And to my surprise this stuff works.. No air leak 3 days straight, I’ve driven 600km’s between the 3 days and have been monitoring my tires.. I’m bloody impressed with this, they even say it can withstand a bullet but obviously that requires 3 times the SEAL as you would normally put in your tire.. before putting the SEAL you have to balance your tyres, and that’s it.. I’m going to keep an eye and monitor it but I tell you, this is a game changer, I’m always losing a good tire to punctures and side wall slits..

You should probably look at how and where you are driving if you are always losing tires to punctures...

I guess I got shitty luck, where I drive, there’s a lot of pot holes.. but never the less, I got the right product for me..

Stop buying crap and get new tyres rather.....

In this case, my tires will literally last me full thread life.. without having a worry of a puncture, my spare Tyre can stay an untouched novelty lol

How is your tyre balancing after being filled with SEAL?

Basically the balancing was done just before the liquid was filled into the tires, I was told after the liquid is filled, I should go for a drive on a reasonable road where I would be able to drive about 80 km/h for about 5 minutes and increase to 100km/h.. I did this and at first I was nervous cause my balancing was out but once I did this, it came back to normal.. the driving with balanced tyres are so there is an even spread of this liquid right through your tyres

I'd rather know if a tyre's been damaged, rather than have it self destruct completely when the hidden damage gets bad enough.

Let’s take a nail for example, I usually know when there’s a nail in my Tyre cause it gives a sound.. like you can just hear there’s something in your Tyre.. so what happens is, you hear it, stop, see it, pull it out and carry on driving.. you see, this liquid has small rubber particles in it.. so it basically fills the hole with a thick liquid and pieces of rubber.. the rubber closes the hole it’s as if it never happened.. but I’m pretty sure everyone finds out something is in there Tyre and it’s not only to the loss of air..

Why would the Tyre self destruct?

What holds this "even spread" of liquid in the tyre once you have stopped?
