Somewhere far far away.
Got this nice little sms yesterday from Vodacom informing me that
I will forfeit some talking points from 1 Dec and then some more on
1 Jan and 1st on every month after that :mad::mad:

Damn you Vodacom..

1000 Points within 16 months that's like R620 a month, hopefully it's not
a piece of sh*t phone

I'm like 40 points short and was thinking of just buying R400 worth of airtime
to get the last couple points..

Did anyone get a phone on their talking points yet and is it really worth it????

and no I don't want a contract don't like to be tied down to something each month.

as far as i'm concerned, VC has become Telkom reincarnate. I'm switching to MTN, cause frankly, you get way better deals with MTN at the moment. VC officially SUX!!!

Yeah how many ppl actually buy over R600 worth of airtime a month??? and Why the
h3ll should the talking points expire, they allready made plenty money from you by the time you got a 1000 points.

That R10 000 airtime the free phone is probably some cr@ppy phone not even worth
R500 - R800. That's why I seriously hope the phone will be at least worth something, was thinking of just buying airtime for the last couple points and giving the phone to my parents as their old phone giving then problems lately.

Was wondering if someone actually got a phone from talking points yet and
like what type phone you get for 1000 points..
I know they change the list of phone regularly, but wanted to have a rough idea of what type phones they give. Would then know if it's rather better to just go out and buy then a cellphone for Xmas..

Just buy them an new phone, should be about R500 for a basic Nokia?
Yes VC has poopy contract deals and they are not appreciating loyal customers.

Do they say anwhere that they ae allowed to take away your talking points?

I'm with you guys... I was saving of 400 points (or something like that) then you get a great discount on Vodacom calls...

I need 3 things from VC.

1) Internet below R2 a meg!
2) Yebo Less for contracts!
3) Talking Points that doesn't expire (needed to buy a prepaid to make use of the Yebo 4 Less.)

I have already decided to go over to MTN.

Had enough of vodacom. They also took my talking points away.

MTN, Anytime, here I come !!!!

:)

i would suggest buy your parents a nokia 1200 (R279 incl starter pack from pep stores) then convert your talking points into airtime and give that to your parents..
