How about their feking QoQ economic growth in 2020 while every other major economy is in recession.

It means literally nothing that 22 million people are in lockdown. Literally nothing.
Their economy is still growing while every other developed nation is in recession.

If you don't know what you're talking about, don't argue with people who do.

also accurate. this whole approach started being crystallised in the Kennan "Long Telegram" almost immediately after the end of the war and has basically been the US foreign policy philosophy ever since, irrespective of who the administration is.

I'm specifically saying that Donnie's intent was to shift blame for the virus in the US from his admin, by demonising China.

I'm discussing one Donald J Trump... You're tilting at windmills.

You have to put 22 million in context. China has a population of 1.4 billion. In fact, 22m in lockdown is not even as bad as the South African lockdown if all we're using is plain numbers.

I like how you conveniently neglect to mention that their growth shrunk from 6.1% in 2019 to 1.0 % in 2020, but yeah hardly affected at all.... :X3:

You also neglect to mention that the projections also show all the countries that were in recession in 2020 moving back towards periods of growth in 2021

Fair enough, however, it's not their first lockdown, and the growth of their economy slowed significantly in 2020.

The people who don't want you to call a virus that originated in China "China Virus" are the same people who don't want violent criminals who destroy cities to be called "rioters"... They're also the same people who don't want to be called "slimy" and "disgusting" when they exhibit slimy and disgusting behaviour, and don't want to be called "commies" when they act like communists.

If they don't like the truth, it is offensive and no one should be allowed to speak it. They should never be held accountable and have to take any responsibility for their actions.

I would not believe 90% of China self reported economic data (or any of their data) it's all BS.

The real threat is them buying up America (and other) businesses. Especially food, food processing, oil.
